German Language Diploma A2 (DSD A2):  This diploma is similar in structure to the German Language Diploma I but is academically less demanding. The exam consists of three parts: reading comprehension, oral communication, and written communication and is held at our school. The DSD A2 should serve as a final exam for those students for whom the more demanding DSD I is not suitable.
    The Diploma is issued in Germany in three languages and is thus an excellent document to be included with any resume.

German Language Diploma I (DSD I):  Students must possess adequate knowledge of German to qualify for this preparatory course at Germania Language School. Students must be between the ages of 14 and 17 at the time of the exam.
    The exam that leads to the German Language Diploma I consists of an oral and a written part and is held in Toronto. Upon successful completion, the student is entitled to attend a two to three year course at a college in Germany whose area of concentration is in German studies.

German Language Diploma II (DSD II):  For this Diploma, students must be between the ages of 17 and 21 at the time of this exam. The exam consists of an oral and a written component and is held in Toronto on two separate days.
    The German Language Diploma II opens the possibility of admission at a university in Germany. A letter of acknowledgment, written in English, is enclosed with the German Language Diploma II to clarify the student's achievement. In combination with this document, the German Language Diploma II will also be an asset when applying to Canadian universities or pursuing opportunities in the workplace.
